For close to two full decades, Dr. Gandhi has been providing incredibly personalized and high-quality dental care to help patients achieve their proudest and healthiest smiles. Ever since she could remember, she wanted to be a dentist because of the combination of art and science it offered along with the healthy work-life balance she always dreamed of having. Additionally, she’s always had the natural tendency to want to help people and improve lives. With oral healthcare being the perfect fit, she chose to embark on this career path, and the rest is history!
Dr. Gandhi first started her journey in the dental field by completing her dental degree in 2006 as well as working as a general dentist with a focus on oral diagnosis and pathology. Later, she moved to the United States in 2009 and was a dental assistant before studying in the Advanced Education program for international dentists at the University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry. Today, she continues to pursue continuing education courses at Baylor College of Dentistry to expand her knowledge and constantly refine her skills and techniques. She is even nitrous oxide and Invisalign certified. On top of her membership with Spear Education, she is also active in other professional organizations like the American Dental Association, the Texas Dental Association, and the Academy of General Dentistry.
Away from the dental office, Dr. Gandhi lives with her husband and their two wonderful children. She loves spending quality time with them and creating beautiful memories with her loved ones. In her free time, she enjoys cooking and trying out new recipes. She even likes to try and create various, delicious salsas.

The Dr. Gandhi and his staff are A-M-A-Z-I-N-G, we are so happy! Finally found an amazing dentist! My husband and I had a great experience, attention, and service is excellent... so I recommend it at 100%.

Whether you’re overdue for your six-month cleaning or you’re interested in transforming your smile with Invisalign in Wylie, you’ll be happy to know that we are only about 10 minutes away! Our office is located at 350 W Farm To Market 544 #130 in Murphy, TX. We’re close to Pecan Hollow Golf Course and Breckinridge Park. Even closer, you’ll see Panda Express, Braum’s Ice Cream & Dairy Store, and Denny’s. Your GPS should lead you straight to us, but don’t hesitate to get in touch if you need any assistance.
Murphy Dental Home never wants you to assume that oral healthcare is out of your financial reach. Although some treatments can be costly, there are ways to lower your out-of-pocket, upfront costs. Failing to seek regular dental care will only increase the price and time required to address serious oral health issues, so it’s best to call and ask about alternative payment options.
Our team is pleased to not only welcome your dental insurance (if you have it), but we also accept flexible financing and provide an in-house membership plan. With CareCredit, you can break up your payments over several months and make staying within your budget much easier.
Our in-house membership plan allows you to pay one low annual fee in return for access to preventive services and valuable discounts on other available services.
When trying to determine where you can get the best dental work, you’ll need to start by creating a list. Identifying what is most important to you is a good starting point. Whether it’s a dentist near Wylie who has flexible operating hours, whose office is near your work or home, or who provides comprehensive services all under one roof, these factors can help you narrow down your search.
Once you do, you can begin to read patient reviews, learn more about the dentist and team members, and call to schedule an appointment.
At Murphy Dental Home, we make it easy for patients to see us by offering Saturday appointments, and we provide an array of payment options to ensure our office remains accessible and affordable. Not to mention, we complete all of our services under one roof, so the need to refer a patient is unlikely.
If you need to schedule a same-day appointment with a dentist near Wylie, it’s probably because you are experiencing a dental emergency. This requires knowing whether the professional offers availability for these kinds of appointments. While many dentists will do their best to get you in as soon as possible, others, like ours at Murphy Dental Home, believe in providing same-day care.
We understand that the goal of these appointments is to help you out of pain and build a plan to restore and improve the health and aesthetics of your smile. All you’re required to do is call us the moment an accident occurs. After explaining your symptoms and situation to our team, we will identify a time for you to come in and get the help you need.
All licensed dentists start somewhere. Achieving a DDS or DMD degree requires three years of dental school, one that is recognized by the American Dental Association (ADA). However, before you can enroll in dental school, you must have a bachelor’s degree and have studied a major that requires many math and science-related courses.
After completing the hands-on experience and classroom instruction that are required in dental school, you can pursue general dentistry or one of the 12 specializations (i.e., orthodontics, pedodontics, periodontics, endodontics, prosthodontics, oral surgery, etc.).
Once you are satisfied with your position in the dental field, you must commit to completing a certain number of continuing education courses each year to remain licensed.
